Lifetime of
Water Safety

How long will it take my child to learn to swim?
It’s a question every parent faces as they strive to ensure their child is equipped for safety in and around the water. Which is why we’ve created the S.A.F.E.R. Swimmer Promise, a commitment to ensure your child learns critical self-rescue skills. We’ll teach them the skills needed to pass our water safety test in one year or less, or we’ll provide up to 2 months of free lessons to help them succeed.

S.A.F.E.R. Proven Curriculum

Our proven curriculum teaches 10 essential swim skills designed to make every swimmer safer in the water. Your child will successfully perform these essential self-rescue and safety skills in 12 months or less – or we’ll give you up to 2 months of free lessons to help them succeed.

Swimmers aged 4 and up in Beginner 2-4 are ready for the S.A.F.E.R. Swimmer curriculum, where they’ll master self-rescue and water safety skills.

Our water safety test is designed to assess each swimmers ability to perform essential skills for self-rescue and safety. If they don’t pass within one year of consistent attendance, they’ll receive up to 2 months of free lessons to help them succeed.

Practice makes progress, so weekly attendance is required, with no more than 4 missed lessons to keep the promise intact (facility closures not included).

So what are you waiting for?

Enroll today and give your child the gift of lifelong water safety and confidence. Together, let’s create a generation of safer swimmers!

For children ages 4+ in Beginner 2–4 group classes at participating locations. If a swimmer doesn’t pass the S.A.F.E.R. Swimmer Test within one year of consistent weekly attendance (no more than 4 absences), they’ll receive up to 2 months of free lessons or until they pass, whichever comes first. Make-up lessons must be completed within 2 weeks of an absence to stay eligible.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer a free trial?

No, we do not offer free trials. However, we do offer single-day enrollments so your child can try a swim lesson before committing to a program.

What do I need to bring to my lesson?

Please bring a swimsuit, towel, goggles, and a swim diaper if needed.

Can I speak with the swim instructors about my child’s progress?

Yes. At the end of each month, we host a "Show & Tell" event where parents are invited into the pool area to watch their swimmers demonstrate newly learned skills. This is also a great opportunity to speak with instructors about your child’s progress.

How will I know how my child is progressing in swim lessons?

You will have access to an app where instructors document your child’s progress after each lesson.

Do you have a make-up policy?

Yes. We offer one make-up lesson per month when a scheduled lesson is canceled in advance. Make-up lessons must be completed within two weeks of the missed lesson and are scheduled based on availability.

How much notice is required to cancel enrollment?

We require a 30-day notice to cancel a continuous enrollment.

What should I expect during my first lesson?

Please arrive 10 minutes before your first lesson so we can provide a tour of our facility. Our three warm-water pools are above-ground and feature video technology and endless-current systems designed to support effective swim instruction.

Will my child be able to learn to swim the length of a pool in the above-ground tanks?

Absolutely. Our focus is on building strong foundational swimming skills and proper stroke technique, which prepares swimmers to confidently swim in any pool environment.

Where can I watch my child’s swim lesson?

You can watch your child’s lesson through the viewing windows in our waiting room or on the TV monitors located in the lobby.

How long will it take for my child to learn to swim?

Learning to swim is a lifelong skill that develops at different rates for every child. For swimmers starting in our Beginner 2 class, we generally recommend consistent weekly lessons to progress through Beginner 4. Depending on the child, this process may take up to a year.

    How long are swim lessons?
